Honor
Roll All Stars a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization offers a
viable alternative for these children by
engaging them in activities and on-going
relationships that increase their confidence and
encourage success in all areas of their lives.
We are presently operating in the greater
Chicago land area and our program has been
experiencing exponential growth.
Our unique agenda is designed to provide a direct
link between local businesses, educators,
community leaders and the youth that will become
the leaders of tomorrow. The positive people our
students encounter reinforce the theory that if
you believe it you can achieve it and sends the
resounding message that it is cool to be smart
and work hard in school.
In
July of 2004 Honor Roll All Stars was officially
introduced as part of the City of Harvey’s
official 4th of July festivities
sponsoring a youth basketball tournament with
Jr. High and High School skill levels
respectively.
Honor Roll All Stars has
sponsored several very successful charity events
under the name of Celebrity Poetry Slam, and Big
Business Comedy Jam. The program has also
co-sponsored events with NBA All Star Paul
Pierce, Kismet Family Services, The Boys and
Girls Club of Inglewood and the Los Angeles
Character Education Partnership.
